In this case study, I focus on the bottom navigation. The compose button at the bottom navigation is obvious to find and easy to reach with the thumb. Overall the bottom navigation makes the app comfy to use with one hand. It takes some time to notice that you have highlighted an email when you tap on the star. The yellow background solves this issue that looks small but annoying.
